LOTF chapter 6&7
The tension between Ralph and Jack continues to rise. Ralph has to continue to remind Jack who the "chief" is. But I think Ralph lost a lot of the power when he showed how scared he was when encountering the "beast." I found it very disturbing when they mentioned killing a little one, even if they were joking. It just shows how little civilization is left in them.

That part really freaked me out too. When they all danced around that one kid and even Ralph, who seems to be the most "together" joined in. I'm kind of worried about where this wild streak will take all of them.
