I enjoyed these chapters a lot more because there was much more action. I knew that Jack would eventually challenge Ralphs power because Jack believes he is the strongest one in the group. I was Ralph shows he is a much better leader in these chapters.

ReplyDeleteJack speaks for the masses and if Ralph had this characteristic do you think that the boys would've stayed wit him? I was wondering since the conch can be symbolic to power when Piggy and Simon told Ralph to blow it and he didn't it was him still holding onto his last bit of power.
