LOTF 2/3
So far my favorite character is Piggy. I feel that he is the only person able to keep his mind right on the island right now, and Ralph and Jack are being blinded by the power they now possess. I'm predicting that throughout the story, Piggy will continue to make these small attempts to open the boy's eyes. At some point something will go wrong and Piggy will be the one saying 'I told you so' at the end. Simon's tranquil space is interesting: If its as nice as he thinks I wonder why he wants to keep it to himself. This secret is showing that separation is beginning to appear in the story.

I totally agree Piggy is the most intelligent on the island, and I feel like he is taken for granted and his abilities are never used to their full advantage simply because the boys judge Piggy on his appearance. Simon is also interesting to me as well, his sense of secrecy increases which makes me wonder about his character.
