Lev just isn't himself anymore. He is a whole other person and its not really for the better, more for the worse because now he is starting to steal. However he is still thinking of other people. For example, helping Cy-Fi get to Joplin. I am starting to understand the process of unwinding a little more like when Cy-Fi has the other kids thought and feelings in his head. It goes to show you that they don't actually die, they still live.
