Unwind Part 2

Surprisingly, this book continues to keep my suspense increasing. I feel truly bad for Lev as he tries to escape from his kidnappers he realizes that he only made situations worse for himself because his family lied to him he wasn't actually a tithe, he was a unwound. Risa and Connor are only trying to help him considering they are in his situation which is very nice of them. Lev finds out the hard way they were helping him and he betrayed them. This made him alone which was sad; only because he didn't know better. Also I felt for Connor when he claimed the storked baby as his own he wants the baby to have a functional life and not be unwound like himself and the story of the stork he was encountered with was absolutely horrible. This book definitely has a core theme of the negatives in people and society.
