Unwind part 3

This book is getting really interesting. I  learned about the process of unwinding a child. The guy CyFi had a kids brain, so he was able to tell how everything happened with the child. The idea of "unwinding" is shocking me and I feel bad for the kids. I'm kind of confused a little at what the whole process really is. I also want to know what is going to happen with Connor and Ronald?
