unwind pgs 53-112 (part 2)
When the 19 year old mother had left her baby on the porch of a house, it reminded me of like being unwound. She just left it there, not knowing what would happen to it. That is like being unwound because if you go to the harvest camps, no one knows what happens to anyone that goes in there. All everyone knows is that parts of you go to other people. All they know is that you never do/will come back. It seems like Risa and Conner feel like they are suppose to hate each other for some reason but find it hard to. Towards the end of this part, Conner is starting think of ways they want to be reincarnated. This may be inferring that they feel like they wont survive much longer after they leave the shop. The thing that frustrates me about this part is that the mother just left the baby on the porch without any thought. Why would anyone ever want to leave a little innocent newborn baby alone on a porch were anything could have happened to it?!
