unwind part 1

my overall reaction to the reading was shocking that kids would have to live some of their life only to be unwind. it was weird to learn that the kids' parents didn't have any regrets or sympathy towards what they were doing. for example, I didn't like how connor's parents planned a vacation after the date of his unwinding. after all the years spent raising their child, it's hard to imagine how a mother or father would be able to sacrifice their kid like it was no big deal. what I also didn't like about it was how it went back and forth between characters. it was harder to follow that way, and once all three characters met together I thought that individual character chapters should stop.
